Stuart Forster is a freelance travel journalist based in the north-east of England. His work is published by the likes of National Geographic Traveller, Sydney Morning Herald and Thomas Cook Travel Magazine. Stuart speaks fluent German and specialises in travel to German speaking countries as well as to Portugal and India, where he was based for several years. He appreciates wildlife and nature, good food and drink, design and photography and enjoys playing and watching sports while out on the road. His most intense travel experience was a face-to-face encounter with a mountain gorilla in Rwanda.
