Autumn Mooney 02 Aug 2012 Read 3667 times

The Legian resort luxury suites in Bali, Indoneasia is where sunbathers can relax, dance and play into the luxury of night. There are two types of holidays in blissful Bali; the jungle ‘find yourself' beautiful sojourn of volcanic-rock beaches; or the ‘lose yourself' kind, where you enjoy a spot of chic market shopping, followed by pina colada cocktails beachside,

while you chat to like-minded people from around the world, before dancing the night away. Both are stress free, spirit-balancing options, the latter is what luxury at the Legian Resort luxury suites in Bali, Indonesia best facilitates.

The Legian is luxury in the heart of everything that is Bali-hip. Situated at the end of Legian Beach, by the nearby trendy nightspots of Seminyak, and chic air-conditioned boutique stalls, you could easily lose yourself in the interesting streets selling arts, crafts, fake handbags, DVDs, and hair braiding. Nearby are popular bar and dance clubs for those eager to chill out and dance the night away, and all this is easy to access because of Legian's complimentary shuttle service for guests.

If you are lucky enough to arrive at The Legian at nightfall, you'll see the hotel at it's most bewitching. Glimmering ponds and marble floors enchant your eyes; candles flicker in the soft breeze; and distance waves crash against the sand. Nightfall at the Legian is alluring and romantic, no doubt about it.

Suites:

The Legian boasts luxury air-conditioned suites only - overlooking plush gardens and the majestic Indian Ocean - a great place to lounge on an outdoor bed with a good book. Suites are enormous; decked out with stylish modern Balinese décor, a large swirling flatscreen TV and DVD, with plenty of lounging areas and complimentary internet. Bring your own ipod (or use a complimentary one for the length of your stay) - and relax to the sounds of modern beats playing from the Bose surround-sound system, which are also installed in the bathroom for amazing bathing ambience. The enormous bathroom comprises a bath (that you may mistake for a pool!), twin toilets and basins and luxury amenities.

Spa:

Hidden in the South Gardens you'll find a world of sanctuary awaiting you. The Spa offers a vast menu of massage and eastern therapies using organic products, performed on state of the art massage beds. Your soul will be swept away at the touch of one of the Balinese masseuse's hands. Nearby, a spa boutique, gymnasium, steam room and sauna await your visit.

Dining:

Dine in the restaurant or under the stars, opposite the beach by the pool, and let your taste buds delights in The Legian Chef's masterful creations. For a starter, I recommend

Mushroom and truffle soup; perfectly blended and frothing like an Italian cappuccino. This soup dish is warming like hot chocolate - quite soothing if you're visiting Bali in the rainy season. So be comforted, as you dip your soft buttered warm bread into this divine starter.

For your main try the crispy skin, pan-fried snapper, with lettuce salad and tropical citrus dressing. And for dessert, why not delight in something different in an unusual blend of coconut, avocado and watermelon flavoured ice cream? Life is about experience, and this is one uniquely tasty experience.

Upon checkout you will thoughtfully receive a reminder of the timing, and if it eventuates your flight is at odd hours, arrangements can be made to freshen up in the hospitality suite before heading off to the airport - after you make use of the hotel facilities - that means, lounge by the pool as long as you like. Chilled towels are regularly presented to sunbathers, along with a delectable menu of poolside refreshments.

When you first arrive in paradise, a signed welcoming card from the General Manager greets you, and a poem takes centre stage in the room. It reads:

Sunbather

All day long, the sky's bright golden crown

Turn people, like leaves, to red and to brown.

Now evening descends and the leaves float away

To happily relax; to dine, dance or play.

We hope this night brings both pleasure and fun

Til you rejoice once more in the new day's sun.

So go, relax, dine, dance and play at the Legian in Bali, it will be worth it.
