Laura Byers is a freelance travel journalist that lost her heart to the world of travel ten years ago during a round the world trip with her husband. She enjoys discovering new cultures, culinary exploration and new adventures.
Since the age of four, on the slopes of Banff and with Panda the teddy bear stuffed into her skiing jacket, Kerry-Ann has been at one with Mr Travel Bug. Following several stints around the world she settled in London to work as a journalist specialising in travel but also covering music, food, politics and current affairs. She is internationally published.
Some of her off the beaten track travel moments involve interviewing a hip hop band in Kibera, Kenya's largest slum; frog fishing with Cambodian farmers and a close shave with a croc in a dugout canoe in Nepal. She has reviewed some of the world's most elite hotel brands such as Oberoi, ITC and Claridges. Where will the world take her next?

I have been a travel journalist and photographer since 2005 for the likes of Teletext, ABTA, World Travel Guide and iVillage. I am currently a trusted supplier of high-end images to Rex Features, while I also write features for The Weather Channel. I visit Italy more than any country outside England, however I travel all over the world in search of enchanting places and incredible people.

Justin Steinlauf is the sales and advertising dynamo at TNT magazine downunder, a savvy backpacking travel publication, in daily contact with sojournists and the tourist industry. It was un-avoidable that he fell into photography and travel writing along the way. When Justin is not surfing the northern beaches of Sydney, he is scouting out the best cup of coffee, wandering backstreets, or discovering hidden gems off the beaten path.
Alex Harmon is the Editor of TNT Magazine Australiaand New Zealand, and the soon to be the Editor in Chief of the Escape Lounge. She is also an avid food writer for various newspapers and lifestyle websites in Sydney. When she's not taking selfies of her food and travels, she's trawling second hand bookstores looking for Jeanette Winterson's Written on the Body (her copy was thrown out of window in the south of France, never to be seen again) or trying to skateboard the backstreets of Sydney while snapping photos of street art and hashtagging the hell out of them on Instagram.

Shitika Anand is a freelance fashion and lifestyle journalist who has more photos of sunrises on her smartphone than selfies. The freedom, nervousness and uncertainty of solo traveling gives her immense joy; even more joy than what Brie and a glass of tempranillo can give to her taste buds. She enjoys discovering secret beaches around Australia, room service, engaging bartenders in conversations about cocktails from the 1800s and munching on kale at organic cafés. Her work also can be found in GQ, Forbes, Women’s Health and CNN Travel, among other publications.
Shelley Seale is a freelance journalist and author based out of "weird and creative" Austin, Texas; but she can often be found vagabonding all over the world. She has written for National Geographic, The Guardian, USA Today, Texas Monthly, Andrew Harper Traveler and CNN, among others. She also enjoys yoga, movies, wine, and books, though not necessarily in that order. She has performed a catch on the flying trapeze, boarded down a live volcano, and was once robbed by a monkey in Nepal.

I’m a 30-something Sydney girl who’s lived in 4 countries, travelled to every (non-ice covered) continent, been married and divorced, won 2 snowboarding gold medals (true!), recently learned to dive, obsessed with karaoke, and detests vegemite.
My career initially started in media and advertising agencies, eventually moving overseas to work for a well-known international airline in marketing. Taking advantage of all the travel perks that comes with that, I lapped up countless business class flights, uber - luxury hotels, chef hat restaurants, private superyachts, VIP service and even sneaked an appearance on the infamous red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. In saying that, my travel and activities don't at all reflect a 5-star lifestyle where I'd much prefer to mingle with locals, travel slow, savour home-cooked food and get off the beaten track.
I've been travel writing for 10+ years, most notably for a recent 6 month trip around South America, and now I write and co-manage a dating activities review resource "Date Night Agenda". When I'm not travelling, I'm busy marketing it to others, managing the digital communications (including the blog) for the world's largest online travel company.
